Calibrate CO₂ flow
Your setup: — change
The Drops the cylinder's pressure (about 60 bar when full) to a working pressure, about 1 bar here. Its flathead screw fully anti-clockwise is closed. was checked at 1 bar in Set up the CO₂ flow test.
- Record how long the CO₂ takes to fill the measuring cylinder.
- Calculate the flow rate.
- Adjust the A fine-adjustment valve on the solenoid's front port. It sets how fast CO₂ flows; turn clockwise to close., and repeat until you reach the target flow rate.
Shutting the gas off after a session
- Turn the regulator anti-clockwise until its screw hangs loose: it is then fully off.
- Close the adapter’s pin.
- Turn the The dial on the front of the solenoid. 0 is normal (closed without power); 1 holds the valve open. to 1 to vent the line to zero, then back to 0.

How does the measured flow rate compare with your target?
Close the A fine-adjustment valve on the solenoid's front port. It sets how fast CO₂ flows; turn clockwise to close. a little (clockwise), and repeat the measurement until it matches.
Open the needle valve a little (anti-clockwise), and repeat the measurement until it matches.

Answer: On target, within your tolerance
- If you see Above target, beyond your tolerance: Close the A fine-adjustment valve on the solenoid's front port. It sets how fast CO₂ flows; turn clockwise to close. a little (clockwise), and repeat the measurement until it matches.
- If you see Below target, beyond your tolerance: Open the needle valve a little (anti-clockwise), and repeat the measurement until it matches.
